Employee Communications
This central source for benefit summaries, forms, links to carriers, and plan comparisons is user-friendly and interactive. Plan descriptions, eligibility rules, contribution levels and rates, and access to tips or FAQs are readily available to assist employees in making informed benefit decisions. The expanded site option includes employer branding elements, HR communications, education tools, and enhanced interactivity. The Health & Wellness center provides access to unbiased health information useful for evaluating treatment options and learning how to live a healthy lifestyle.

Our dynamic interactive network of educational content, communications, and helpful tools places professional resources at your fingertips 24/7. In addition to current wellness, legislative and benefits community updates; program information, sample policies, HR communications materials, and access to industry resources are all available to users right on their desktop.

Eligibility Tracking and Online Enrollment

Real-time, 24/7, secure access to benefit data is available for employers and employees through the Internet. Employees can view and elect benefits on-line, and employers have rights to add and approve new hires, terminations, status changes and benefit elections. Updated information is tracked and communicated to the appropriate carriers and vendors electronically, reducing error ratios and improving the communication timeframe. Extensive employer reporting is available, including standard or customized reports for payroll deductions, employee demographics, census data, and enrollment recaps.

Help Desk Support

Athens Benefits provides Help Desk services for benefit plan information, enrollment and eligibility questions, carrier claim support, and individual issue resolution. The Help Desk team has specific information about the plans and eligibility requirements for each group. Every employer is assigned a dedicated Account Manager who is familiar with their group and benefits plans, and is available for escalated questions and assistance. Toll-free live access and e-mail assistance is available during business hours for Athens Help Desk clients.

On-site Open Enrollment
and New Hire Meetings

Expert support is provided with professional-quality presentations for management and staff in group meeting settings at client locations. Knowledgeable benefit professionals will also help arrange and participate in benefit fairs or events for clients.
